Dancing Couple – Skull Tattoo

Skull tattoos may be the most widely recognised tattoos in the world. They were made famous by the pirates during the 17th and 18th centuries. Skull tattoos are a symbol of ruthlessness and they represent the dangerous albeit adventurous life of the pirates. These feelings can be softened with the use of flowers alongside the skulls or add flames to a skull and you will be a notorious-biker-reputation tattoo. But in Tibet, Asia, skull tattoos acquire a completely different meaning. In Tibet, they are symbols of Buddhism and they are often used in the Tantric rituals.
